You could try getting another power cord to see if its the cord that's causing the issue, otherwise it sounds like something inside has failed and would need to be repaired.

Sounds like there is a failure within the console which will need to be repaired.

I used Different power cords even tested the power cords on my friends Xbox and they worked on his but mines just doesn’t turn on the light doesn’t even turn on

I tried doing a hard reset and it did not work. I’ve tried restarting both router and Xbox numerous times. Any network setting I try to set manually won’t go through. The MAC address won’t restart after it’s entered. The IP addresses won’t go to the next screen after entering the Gateway IP. What is left to try?

Update:

Now my Xbox won’t turn on. I hit the button, it’s lights up and it makes the noise but immediately turns off. I had to unplug the power source for it to turn back on.

Sounds like one of several issues.

1. Switch HDMI inputs on your tv

2. Try another HDMI cable

3. Power off Xbox by holding down the front panel power button then try powering on again

4. Use step 3 but unplug power cord for a few minutes then reconnect.

If none of these work, then go to Xbox.com/support
