My Xbox S won’t let me download the past version of Minecraft why?

What do you mean by playing past versions? Downgraded ones?

That is not possible, the only version available to play on Xbox Consoles is the current new and updated one.

If you are having issues installing it, you can try resetting your console and retrying the download.

Please, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

I have an Xbox one S

And I thought x/s games meant they run on Xbox one x & Xbox one s

But having digitally purchased JEDI SURVIVOR DELUXE EDITION.

The store won’t let me download it stating it incompatible with my Xbox one S??

Why isn’t my minecraft add ons from my xbox 360 won’t transfer to xbox one!?

Hey, how are you? Hope you are fine! Sad that you’re experiencing that type of problem, but I think, that may be because of different versions of the game, maybe try to download the other version of Minecraft besides of the “Xbox One Edition” ( Wich doesn’t
have any more patches if I’m correct..), and try again! Hope you can fix your problem!

Ok so I can login on the Microsoft home page and Xbox but if I go to the Xbox app on computer it won’t let me sign in same if I go into Minecraft the game it won’t let me sign in also sorry for the late reply

Why is it the Xbox version? I paid for minecraft years and years ago, downloaded/installed from the the web on this PC and to my knowledge never intended to use the Xbox app for minecraft.
