My Xbox plays a loud ring/beep that doesn't stop.

I just tried launching Phantasy Star Online 2 on my Xbox and when it reached the menu, a loud ringing sound came from my Xbox. Every time I pressed the home button on my controller to bring up the menu the sound would stop but the moment I got out of the
menu it started again. My Xbox has been making this sound for quite sometime but I didn't know it was the actual Xbox, as it happened at random times when it was on. Any ideas of what this could be? I've never had this happen before so this is strange to me.

Yes it seems like the ringing only happens when I'm on a game so I will try uninstalling it and downloading it again. Thank you for the suggestion.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have a loud ringing coming from the console. Does this happen only when in a game? Does it happen when you are searching around on the console only? If not try uninstalling the game it happens most
on and then reinstall the game.

Do you still have a warranty on the console? You may need to contact live support and report it.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
