    My Xbox Party doesn’t work, and no xbox given solutions work either.


    When i start or join a party, it instantly puts me into game chat, and does not allow me to switch to party chat. I’ve tried every xbox given solution with no success. The only solution that’s worked for me is repetitively plugging and unplugging my headset into my controller, usually quite violently. Of course this solution will eventually break my controllers headphone jack, or whatever you call it. Even with this solution i’ve found, it does not always work, as sometimes i have to do it only a few times, and others i can keep trying with no luck. Looking to see if anyone has had this issue or any other solutions, that hopefully doesn’t involve buying a new controller and/or console. My headset seems to be working fine, and i’m not sure how the headset would affect not being able to press the button to put me back into party chat from game. Very much appreciated if anyone has any ideas.
