My Xbox party chat doesn’t let me connect but everything else works fine

Sorry to hear about your issue. Let's try some steps that might help. Kindly go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try to launch the game again.

If that did not work, try turning off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

So I would use a hotspot and that would work so I’m guessing a wifi thing but everything else works fine it’s just my Xbox that doesn’t want to connect to my wifi

I have never been in a party ............. everything else on the game works fine but connected franchise

I'm on Xbox live but it won't let me talk or join parties it says connection lost but I run the test for my connection and everything is fine?? Help

Ok those links won't work for me. This is really weird. EVERYTHING else works fine. I can browse the net on all computers in my houehold fine. Can play PC games fine. Can use Skype fine. Can use my PS3 fine. Xbox can connect but then like I've said disconnects
whenever I'm in a party or private chat and while playing Dead Rising 2 with my mate, just disconnects. Apparently there were probems with the LIVE service the other day? I think I may still be affected by whatever the issue was...
