My xbox one x sound cuts out and game lags like mini freezes. its when playing any game.

it started with the sound cutting out when people spoke on mic or when i spoke to them, i blamed fortnite for that, idk now if it was them or not, now all my sound in games cuts out, as well as the mic issues, and now i lag or freeze. its unplayable as far as im concerned plus i dont want to damage it further.

i tried a hard reset. ive tried reinstalling fortnite, tho not all games on the hard drive. ive tried unplugging stuff. i cleared more space on my hard drive, it has 120 mb free.

i plugged in a new ethernet cord. our net works fine for everything else in the house, seperately or even simultaneously. even another xbox which is not even as good an xbox as mine. or as new. mines like a year and a half old or so, the other ones like 4 years old. its a xbox one s.

when i do play fortnite, it shows the red or sometimes yellow x often on the internet. but i have issues even when it dont. and on fallout 76 it dont advise you on that stuff but i still have the lag and the sound cutting out issues. especially the sound.

but again everything else in the house has no issues, even the things in the same spot, like my pc or ps4. hooked to same tv they have always been hooked to for years. the sound issue first started like a year ago but the lag and freezing began recently. xbox series x are about impossible to get a hold of, plus expensive and besides even if i manage to upgrade i dont want this xbox to be trash, i want it useable to pass down to someone else in my household. so i really need and want this fixed. im about out of ideas though. any help would be great. too bad i cant get that from microsoft.... seems ridiculous.

Hello Beauty, in addition to the procedures you have tried on the console has already made an offline reset, if yes and it continues with the same symptoms of crashes and slowdowns, this may day be related to dirt (dust) inside the console this can cause it to warm up and the processor is not cooled properly making the console have these symptoms.

If you have any technical assistance you can trust, the ideal would be to do an internal cleaning on the console.

I have a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle connected to my PC. When in Bluetooth mode, I get no sound in games. only once the cable is connected it plays sound, but it cuts out intermittently. any advise? anyone have the same issue? when connected to my Xbox one X, the Audio & mic all works as intended, even simultaneous connection with my phone, but NOT when playing PC Games.

Its an awesome game the only thing I dont like is performance so far because the game lags and freezes too many times during gameplay even on Xbox One X

any update on this? I am having the same issues. systemic cut out of sound and loading freeze which freezes the xbox one.

I have tried to address it to them, no response. Xbox One X worked perfect before this game.The crashing started making my Xbox run weird. It would freeze, lag, change the screen colors, sound would cut out. Im just addressing the situation because luckily
I had insurance, not everyone else does. The game developer makes millions and for it to break the most powerful console is bs and they need to take accountability.
