With the intention of giving you some help and a possible solution to solve this problem, I did a search and found an answer from an Xbox Ambassador called Mister Cerb where he helps a user solve a problem similar to yours.

To start, I suggest completely unplugging the console from the outlet and leaving it unplugged for about 60 seconds. Then, plug the console directly into a wall outlet (not a power strip/surge protector/etc.) and try turning the console on again.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand your power button is not lighting up. The console functions completely fine except the power button not lighting up correct? If that is the case I would try a

power cycle. You could also try a
soft factory reset. If them do not light it up, could be that the light just burned out.

The One X or Series X? Either way, there's not a green light. The only light on the console is the power button which should be white.

Hi there! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. We can try some things to fix your console Nxmay!

1. Turn off your Xbox One using the power button on the console.

2. Once your Xbox One has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the console. Don't simply unplug the cord from the wall's electrical socket — it must be disconnected from your Xbox One.

3. Wait a minute, and then reconnect the power cord to both the Xbox One console and the electrical socket.

4. Let another minute pass. If you're using an original Xbox One (as opposed to an Xbox One S or One X), watch for a small white light to appear on the Xbox One's power brick (the rectangular part of the power cord). Once the white light turns orange, you can turn your Xbox One back on. If you're using an Xbox One S or One X, just wait out the minute and turn it on afterwards.

Then do this:

Press the Bind and Eject buttons, and hold those buttons to keep them pressed. Then, with the Bind and Eject buttons held, press the Xbox button.

Let go the Bind and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone. Thereafter, the Xbox One should start up at the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

After that please select Reset and keep my games.

I have tried the power cycle shut down after I do that the xbox light lights up but I get no input signal on my TV. The only way I can get the signal back is to unplug the xbox and leave it unplugged for 15 or more minutes. After I get it all working again
the xbox will freeze after i push the X button for anything. I have also tried to do a factory reset and all it does is freezes up
