    My Xbox One X is freezing


    Dear gamers and Xbox Forum users,

    I got my Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition when it was launched and it worked perfectly! after a month of use it started slowing down and also started freezing. I tried everything but nothing worked. It started slowing down after the update but there's
    no going back to the old update. Is there any of you guys experiencing this too? Or am I the Lucky one? Please help me out with this problem. I also contacted Xbox Support but they recommended a repair but that would take aprox 14-21 days. Please let me know
    if any of you guys are experiencing this too.

    Xbox One X Games freezing?

    Everytime I play fortnite my game freezes after about 6 mins in. Anyone else having issues with games freezing or crashing on their Xbox One X?

    Ive done some searching and other people get the same problem but only with Xbox One X Enhanced games.Everything else is ok so I think there's an issue with them that xbox needs to fix!

    Xbox One X Already Freezing

    Just bought the Xbox One X. Played it for the second day and my game kept freezing?! Just as the action was getting busy, it couldn't handle the standard (Not enhanced) gameplay.

    First game, second day and the most powerful games platform is freezing on me!!!

    How can sort this, or I'm taking it back.

    Hi there,

    you could try doing a factory reset (with or without keeping games installed) this can be done via Settings - System.

    See this link for the exact steps

    If that doesn't improve anything then I would advise following up on what Xbox Support advised, since a repair most likely still is within warranty.

    Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.

    Same problem here. Sometimes is freezes and returns to the home screen, some times the xbox freezes. It is happening on a xbox one x.

    This makes playing not doable. I am returning to my ps4 pro to many issues on xbox one x. No replies from Microsoft. They offer me to send it back for repair, but i have already doen that and had to wait 3 weeks but They didnt solve the issue. Not going to
    send it back again. Never xbox for me again..

    I've been having the same issue. On Xbox One X it gets stuck/freezes on loading. After several attempts I left it on the frozen loading screen.. after 10 mins it loads in correctly.
    May I ask how you stayed on the frozen loading screen? Ten seconds after freezing on my Xbox One X the game just quits out. I cant stay on the frozen screen for long.
