My Xbox one X is connected to the internet, but says i'm not connected to the Xbox network.

My xbox X has not been used in 6 weeks. I turned it on today and it said I it was August 2019, though it had been used previously in 2024. I connected to the internet after chaanging the date whilst offline and none of the services worked. It said all my games I did not own, my friends was not working nor my store. I tried streaming platforms like youtube, which would show the videos but once selected would not play. The console has been restarted multipe times in multiple ways and it has not changed. It continuously says to connect to the xbox network however I have - when internet test is run it says its all good, but when multiplpayer test etc is run it says nothing is available. Have you any idea what this could be and if its fixible, or what I will have to say to a professional to have repaired?

B. Open settings on your console > select network configuration > advanced configuration > DNS configuration > select manual.
Insert this IP address 1. 1. 1. 1 and then this other one, 1. 0. 0. 1.

Restart your console before trying again.

Note: You may want to try with 8. 8. 8. 8 and 8. 8. 4. 4 as well.

C. Factory reset your console:

Open Settings > System > Console Info > Reset > Select “Keep my games & apps”.

D. Perform an offline update on your console.

The Xbox factory reset on the series X still did not work, it wouldn’t connect to the network. I connected my original Xbox one (2014) back up to my monitor and I was able to play online games just fine on there, same Microsoft account and internet that the series X was not connecting too. My Xbox series x keeps saying it has a hardware issue when trying to connect the internet, I’m pretty sure this proves it’s a physical problem with the hardware on my Xbox. I still have warranty on it and can return it and trade in for a new one. I’ll try doing this and seeing if the trade in one works.

Same on muitiple xbox one x, xbox series x, xbox 360. Internet fine not connecting to xbox network.

I'm having a problem with my Xbox One X whereby it never connects to Xbox Live or my internet on start up. I have to go to network settings and disconnect and reconnect my router to it and do a hard reset just to get it to connect. My old Xbox One never
had this issue.
