    My Xbox One Wired Controller's LT Button is constantly being pushed without pushing it


    Just at random times (1-60 seconds) my Wired Controller's LT button is constantly being pressed without even pressing it, I have two wired controllers and both of them have this problem, one of them has a worse of a problem.

    It's only the LT button having this problem, not even the RT button is bugged, it's just the LT button.

    Whenever I press on the LT button, it feels just as smooth as the RT button, so I know that it's not stuck.

    I checked to see if the controller needed an update but there isn't any (Wired Controllers don't need updates).

    I looked around Google and I couldn't find anyone with this problem besides me, am I the only being that buys Wired Controllers?

    I can stop the LT being constantly pressed by pressing LT a few times

    Xbox Controller Left joystick constantly pushed down even when I don't push down on it.

    My Xbox One controller's left joystick thinks I'm pushing down on it constantly, on the Pop-up Keyboard, the Caps Lock button is being pushed down, and I can't press X to backspace, or Y to space. I have to manually go to it on the keyboard
    to do the action. When I'm in a car in Gta 5, the horn is constantly Honking. I've tried to stop it by Restarting the console, or pressing Caps lock myself, but nothing stops it. If anyone knows what to do that would be a big help. On the pic, my "cursor"
    is on q, and the caps lock is being pressed by itself. If anyone knows what to do that would be a big help!

    as whiteshadow said its the right stick for a takedown. being new to xbox the controller has 4 bumper buttons LB, LT, RB, RT and the sticks also can be pushed and they are LS and RS you will find in most shooters RS is used for melee combat

    No it's from another brand , when i use wired connection windows controller driver detects triggers as z-axis and show how much i push trigger.
    but in wreless it shows as button in the event that the https://gamepad-tester.com/ can detects trigger and RT LT potentiometer.

    I'm getting the exact same bug, every time I push a button on my xbox controller which is connected wirelessly to my pc it comes up with the 'please connect a controller' prompt and 'push enter' in the bottom left corner, the controller is connected because I push the enter key, then I push a button on my controller and the message comes up again straight away. First day of release and I'm peed off already

    Yes I did...hopefully this will work for you.. Left side of the xbox their is a button beside a USB port. It's the sync button, push that and use the sync button on the front of your controller.. Should work.. If not push the controller one first then the
    box one.
