My xbox one will not connect to my network even though all other devices in the house are

• Would you mind giving this a try?

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
- Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.
- Plug everything back together
- Turn your console on a wait a minute or two before choosing a profile from the "Who's playing today?" screen.
- Try connecting again.

• If that doesn't work, please try this instead:

- Go to Settings > General > Network Settings
- Select "Manage Wireless Networks"
- Select "Manage my networks"
- Highlight the network you are using.
- Press "X" to forget the network.
- Try connecting to the network again.

Troubleshoot wireless connection

my wireless networking adapter (the one with one antanna) is picking up my internet connection and is also connecting but for some reason my internet connection wont connect to the internet. All of the other devices in the house are conectring fine. Its

Yea, this worked. same modem and router. I took it away one weekend and haven't been able to connect it since. All other devices in the house connect to my network

So I went to another house with a different wireless network and Xbox One and my laptop immediately found and connected to it. I guess that must mean it is either my brand new Xbox One S or more likely my network. Still can't figure it out though.

Check in your console settings that the console allows streaming. Also check in your router settings, if wireless devices are allowed to talk to each other. If necessary, check your router's user manual, if there are other security settings in the router
that prevents devices connecting to each other.
