    My Xbox one s won’t connect to my Sony Bravia TV


    I’ve tried everything to get it to work but still nothing the screen is just black no matter which hdmi I plug it into the screen just stays black but when I plug my laptop in it works perfectly fine why is that ?????

    So that rules out the console being an issue. Have you tried going into Low res mode? Otherwise it could be a setting on the TV causing the issue.

    Sorry to hear you are having an issue. Have you tried plugging the Xbox One into another TV to confirm the HDMI output is working?

    TEST5: New Sony Bravia TV - my xBox works perfectly with all hdmi ports and all my hdmi cables...

    Change resolutions, disable auto discover display, reconnect to my old TV - doesn't work...

    On New Sony Bravia TV - all works :(

    Correction, I meant to say I have my DirecTV DVR hooked into my Xbox One, and then the Xbox One and PS4 into my Onkyo, then the Onkyo into my Sony Bravia TV.
