My Xbox One S will not let me join or invite players to parties.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums for advice on how to hopefully get your multiplayer games up and running. I suggest going to Settings> Devices and Streaming> Blu-ray> persistent storageand
clearing that three times. Once that has been done, go to Settings> General> Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address, clearing that and letting your console restart as
a quick troubleshooting step you can try.

If that does not work, then I highly recommend following the steps outlined in our support page entitled the

Multiplayer Game Solution.

When you get the chance, try those steps out and let us know if that helped with the problem.

Yes, and the error code is unrecognizable by xbox error code search. It only shows the code sometimes though so i cant see it at the moment. I searched the code last time it came up and support couldnt find it.

I assume you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription as well? What happens when you try to join, do you get an error code?

Have one player start the game then invite the other person to a party. Once you have invited your friend to a party you will have an option in the pause menu to invite party to game, so once they join pause the game and there will be an option to simply
invite party to game.

none just wont let me join and im not receiveing any of my friends attempts to invite me to the party either
