My xbox one s skips wifi password even after factory resetting.

SOLUTION: If you are using keyboard and mouse, Xbox skips the password for any internet problem, even after factory resetting. So either unplug and use a controller or unplug IMMEDIATELY after hitting enter of the Wifi you are trying to sign into, this will not cause it to skip and you can plug the keyboard back and and it will work just fine.

Sorry to hear about your issue with your console. Have you tried connecting it to a different network like mobile hotspot? Kindly turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on then try connecting it again.

I have connected before while turning my hotspot to have no password and it worked.

Got it. If it’s only working if it had no password, it could be an issue on the wireless adaptor. Can you try connecting it again using your mobile hotspot then go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try connecting it again.

If that did not work, try changing your DNS. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings > manual

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

then check again.
