My Xbox One S is not starting up

Hey there! Sorry to hear about this issue! I just had a similar issue. Have you tried booting your xbox in safe mode? After turning off your xbox, unplugging for 30 seconds to 2 minutes: next hold the power on button and the controller SYNC button together
for about 5 to 10 seconds. It'll make a chime again. When this happens your xbox will boot in a LOW-res safe mode. From here you have options to restore or reset (with or without deleting all files). This has helped me in the past. Until this last time.
I had to send it to xbox. My xbox is coming back home to me today.

One the one x to reboot in safe mode, its power button and DISC EJECT button for 10 seconds. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask anymore questions. Ill try and help you along the way.

having same issues did the black screen reset did nothing now my Xbox is reset and is telling me i my account doesn't exist..

I appreciate that you might have to recommend that but I bought the console off craigslist for a reason, i can’t afford to send it to Microsoft for repair. I’d just like to try understand what could be causing this problem. Thanks

Hello, you can go through the support page an initiate a repair. It will tell you the cost of repair that you would have to pay. For any reason if repair is no longer avail that would be told too.
