    My Xbox one S is having connectivity issues. These issues persist both with a wired connection as well as a wireless connection. The console will have periods where the NAT type is coming back as strict, or the Upnp is unavailable. The issue resolved itself for a day or two, but then reverts back to the issue. Any help would be appreciated. I have already tried all the recommendations of port forwarding, static IP, etc. I contacted my internet provider and they were unable to help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Did you try a wireless connection from your friend’s?

    If that’s the case, our last resort is to perform a factory reset but this time you have to choose “remove or delete everything” where you need to reinstall everything.

    Hi, so I tested my Xbox at a friends house who has the same model Xbox and is simultaneously hard wired into the same router. His is working fine and mine is still giving me connectivity issues. I’m convinced now it’s an issue with my Xbox

    Got it. Since NAT type depends on your network configuration, the problem must be on your network device or router or from your ISP.

    Our best option is to try it on a different network or use a different router.
