My Xbox One S Is getting game sized updates

The video options found in the Digital Foundry YouTube video are now missing. Players no longer have the option to choose between 1080p and 2160p. For the issue that I explained earlier, I decided to grab my external hard drive again and go back to my Xbox
One S. I re-downloaded the non-enhanced version while unchecking "Download 4K game content" in the options menu. The total file size for the game was 47.5 GB. I opened the file and verified that everything worked on my Xbox One S. I then took my external
hard drive and plugged it into my Xbox One X. It immediately prompted me to update the game. The update came out to 55.07GB. This puts the total file size at 102.57GB VS the 83.70 GB file size that I downloaded initially. Not sure what the issue was, but everything
appears to be working now with the Xbox One X enhancement. The most noticeable way for me to tell that I am playing the enhanced version is the fact that the film grain is no longer in the game. The film grain is extremely noticeable in the Xbox One S version
of the game.

Apex Ledgends varies with different updates the file size may change. As long as the game play ok you fine. In a few weeks you will have another upgrade for the new season with bigger file size. Do not worry as long as the game runs you ok.

XBox One S may have less file size

XBox One X may have bigger size for 4K files.

In your games and apps you can filter it to show only enhanced games. If you do that does it list Quantum Break?

The other contributing reason is that the actual game file sizes are so much larger on Xbox One than anything on Xbox 360 - coupled with potentially large updates to download, this takes much more time than the 360's installation process.
