My xbox one s console shutsdown a few minutes after i launch a game.

Have you found a solution? Im having the same problem and i dont know if its the power cord box or the xbox itself

Can you please try following the steps in the
Xbox One shuts down unexpectedlysupport page and hopefully it should help with the issue you are having.

If its a faulty console then please tell me;

1.Why only gears 5 and gears tactics shutsdown the console? (same developer)

2.If its faulty console, how did i played without shutsdown until ACT4? this is the final mission in the game. If it was faulty console, i must get shutsdown even in first Act. But i played verylong hours until act 4 and only happened in act4 then i finished the campaign. (I dont play multiplayer)

3.If the console is faulty, i played lot of games until this time after gears 5 and the console did not shutdown even single time.

4.There are a lot of people who replaced their xbox and they got shutsdown too.

5.If it was overheating why the console is not prompt overheat warning message? And it would bu funny getting overheating in Gears tactics its just a strategy game.

6.You are saying Microsoft confirmed it. Talking on the phone doesnt confirm anything. There is no official statement. And how you can guarantee if i send my xbox for replacement and got a refurbished xbox and still got shutsdown on Gears 5? then i will be left with refubished xbox. That would be too annoying sending xbox to microsoft over and over until get the working xbox? You replaced your xbox and do not getting shutsdown doesnt mean thats will be the same for other people and that doesnt confirm the problem is the console. If it was %100 console everyone's replacement xbox should be fine but they got shotsdown.

With this questions this looks suspicious. Gears 5 is an old game and will not get a proper patch for this problem. And its looks like a rare bug/glitch/issue for the game, causing some times in some xbox consoles. Thesee shutsdown happened in some other games too but they got patched and xbox released a new firmware. But no one cares about Gears 5 anymore.

Note: If someone getting shutsdown on other games too thats mean their xbox faulty but only shuts down Gears 5 and Gears tactics, i do not believe that the console is faulty.

okay after unplugging the external HDD AND full factory reset (twice). The Problem is still there. Fortnite frezzes after 3 rounds and my xbox one x shutsdown complettly.

I dont know what can i to Right now. i Paid Money for that game! and Epic game seem to doesnt care About my Problems.
