My XBox One S console is not turning on.

Hello,

I didn't use my Xbox for couple of months and now when I switch on the xbox, it does not turn on.

I tried removing the power supply multiple times and reconnected it but no luck so far. The power button on the console blinks for few seconds with a white light but fades off quickly without any success.

I reached out for support but it tells me to dial a number 000 8000 404 454 and when I reach the required menu, the automated voice only mentions the same website. I have being going on in this endless loop with no resolution. What to do now?

I had this issue at one point if my power ever went out. If you have anything plugged into the USB ports of the Xbox, unplug everything from the console including your power supply, leave them unplugged for a minute. Then plug your power supply back in and try turning back on. If it turns on, then you should be able to plug in everything else and continue with your day, but you will have to repeat the process every time it wont turn on. If it doesnt turn on, follow previous reply and take the console somewhere to get it looked at.

Unfortunately even a simple Power supply reset is enough to determine if the console needs to be serviced or not.

Xvox One S out of warranty services are sadly no longer available. Your best shot is to go to a electronic shop specialized in these kind of repairs and ask if it can be done.

Turns out it was somehow trying to connect to either the xbox one s or xbox series s consoles in my house for some reason. Turning them off fixed it.

Sidenote: In all my experiences with wireless xbox controllers (xbox 360, xbox one, xbox series x/s) the sync button needs to be held to be put into pairing mode (quarter ring rotating clockwise /flashing xbox logo), while the button on the console needs a single press, if it helps anyone.

I have a similar situation. My Xbox One S turn on and immediately turn off again. I tried to rest the console but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
