My xbox one loads to dashboard but non of my games or apps show up. Also settings won't load

I'm sorry to read that you're experiencing this issue with your Xbox One console.

Since you cannot access the console settings when starting it normally due to the issue you are experiencing, please check if your console allows you to access the Xbox troubleshooting screen as follows:

1. Make sure there is no disc game inside the console. If there is, please remove it before continuing with the rest of the process.

2. Turn off the console and unplug the power cord for 30 seconds to ensure that the console is completely off, then plug it back in, but do not turn it on yet.

3. Press and hold the Pair and Eject buttons on the console, and then press the power button on the console once while continuing to hold the Pair and Eject buttons.

4. Hold the Pair and Eject buttons for 10 to 15 seconds until you hear the console's power-on tone again, at which point you can release the buttons.

5. The console should power on and display the Xbox startup troubleshooter on the screen.

6. If you successfully access the troubleshooter screen please try resetting the console to its factory settings while keeping your games and apps. To do this, select "Reset this Xbox". When prompted, select the "Keep games and apps" option. This will reset the operating system and remove any potentially corrupt data causing the issue, without deleting your apps or games.

7. Check if the problem persists after following all of the above steps.

let's see if this clears things up. when i turn on my xbox it won't load to my gt or anything. i guess you would say the dashboard won't load up

Make sure you load xbox hub on console and look for stream test in settings-if the streaming test is not there you won't be able to access games on your Xbox one. Try this at home for some reason I could load my games from 1st gen Xboxone but not from
xbox one s,x no option for stream test shows up

Ok, on the dashboard go to Video then select My Video Apps. Choose Xbox Video and wait for it to load.

When it loads choose My Videos and then My Movies (or My TV Shows). The videos that you purchased should be available there for replay.

First thing to check is if the console is up and loaded, and just that the dashboard failed to load? That has happened to me sometimes. It responds to Xbox button presses and lets me load up My Games & Apps, or pressing and holding the Xbox button will
pull up the power menu and a further reboot from there will fix the issue. Check to see if that helps, if not, there are also other great troubleshooting steps listed in this thread.
