    My Xbox One just decided not to get along with my modem.


    I've been playing fine works over a month. All of a sudden within the past few days my Xbox decided it had enough of my modem, I guess. I'm getting the UPnP unsuccessful message, and nothing is working. I can't open the store, I can't connect to game lobbies,
    nothing is working.

    Gears of War Trilogy

    A while back I decided to trade in my 360 just to try something new since I've always been an xbox fan. I decided to give the PS3 Whirl! First I was like yeah man its coool.. then it died down lol.. I decided to trade that ish back in and get my 360 back..
    Along with the all 3 Gears of War games.. if you play add me up I could use some friends.

    can't connect to DHCP server

    My xbox one says it cannot connect to the DHCP server yet the other xbox one in the house is connected along with my PS4 why is my xbox not working on live?

    My Xbox One just decided not to get along with my modem.

    Try this to start with and see if it helps.

    Power cycle your network by unplugging the power to the modem & router for about 60 seconds.

    Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

    Test out the Xbox. If that fails, try the additional steps below.

    (If you're using a wireless connection)

    Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Forget Wireless Network

    Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

    Reconnect to your wireless network again

    Go to Advanced settings > DNS Settings > Manual - Set the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary as 8.8.4.4

    Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

    you might want to try resetting your router and modem along with your Xbox it sounds like your ip addresses are get messed up with your other devices. Because i have to reset my router and modem and Xbox one every now and then as well.

    This will delete all saved games and any progress on my one player games, correct?

    along with many other things such as profiles and such on my xbox

    my xbox can find the networks just fine

    i can even connect on my hotspot from my phone just fine

    however, on the home wifi network i was connected to when all this began, it will find it, ask me to put in the wifi password, then refuse to connect.

    while watching my modem/routers connection screen, the xbox does not even actually attempt to connect
