    I posted my question and pretty much said it all. It is hard-wired through a switch or two BUT the speed-test desktop is hardwired the exact same way (they are next to each other) and I do not have download issues with my PC. This thing has not gone above 15 mbps download speed with it usually hovering sub 10. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I have no issues with connecting to xbox live. I have done i speedtest the results where Ping = 42ms,

    Download Speed = 9.76 Mbps

    Upload Speed = 0.68 Mbps

    Slow upload... are Microsoft capping the speeds.

    Your upload will always be lower then yoir download

    You have to contact your isp to find out your upload when you see 1gbps

    That's just download. And at giga bit not giga byte

    1000/8 is your true download speed and yes wifi and distance from the data Center affects your speeds

    When testing on speedtest you gotta remember it's your connection to the speed.test servers not xbox

    And speedtest. Isn't your download speed at mBps

    That's your mbps

    Xbox Live is bogging down my internet.

    Just a bit more information, as I was typing out my Original post I was also downloading a 1410 Preview update on my Xbox One.

    While the update was downloading I ran a speedtest at www.speedtest.net. It showed my ping at around 245ms with download speeds at 2.5mbps upload speeds at 0.80mbps.

    Now that the update has finished downloading my ping is now back to 19ms. Download is back to 16.25mbps and upload is back to 1.25 mbps. Yes I have crappy speeds, but I have NEVER had this problem with Xbox Live.

    Packetl loss: 0%

    MTU: 1480

    Latency: 148ms

    I live in Amsterdam and location is set to United Kingdom

    Now let see what speedtest say:

    Amsterdam

    Download speed: 86,21 Mbps

    Upload speed: 94,82 Mbps

    Packet loss: 0%

    Latency: 4ms

    London (by Vodafone UK):

    Download speed: 87,10 Mbps

    Upload speed: 94,42 Mbps

    Packet loss: 0%

    Latency: 12ms

    Online gaming is no issue, but streaming to Twitch results in a laggy stream...

    Slow Download speeds for Xbox Series S

    I’ve been noticing very slow download speeds on my Xbox Series S. I have a fibre network connection, and ran a speedtest showing around 950 MBps download and 950 MBps upload. When i download a game or app on Xbox, that number drops to around 50-100 MBps. It sometimes gets to 350-400, but it’s rare. Are the microsoft servers just slow?
    Where did you perform the througput test? On your Xbox?
