My Xbox One is downloading games my Dad purchased on his Xbox One!

I'm annoyed by this. My Dad just purchased an Xbox One and every game he purchases on his Xbox is being downloaded on mine. Not to much of a biggie since I just cancel the download. But now he purchased COD GHOST which I purchased via disc and now it's
installing on my xbox and apparently uninstalled my install. My save game data however was uninterrupted at the moment. I noticed my gold membership credit card had my dads address on it. So I changed the address to mine. My question is why is this happening
(we have different Xbox One's, and different gamer tags. I'm guessing this is that share thing I was never a fan of. If that is the case, is the changing the address on my gold membership going to stop this (please!) and is it going to uninstall my game now
so that I have to reinstall?

Restoring DLCs from old Xbox One

My dad gave me his old xbox one and I since I played his account on the upstairs XB1, I have all my game saves synced to this new one. However, I cannot find nor restore the purchased DLCs (Automaton, Far Harbor and Wasteland Workshop). Help?

Epic Friends option is unavailable

Hi,

When I start Fortnite Battle Royal on my Xbox One the Epic Friends option is unavailable. When my dad starts the game the option is available.

My Xbox Live account is linked to my Epic Games account.

In Fortnite the in game privacy option is set to Public.

My dad updated my Xbox Account settings (Privacy and Online Safety) so they're identical to his own. He also removed Apps, games and media restrictions in Microsoft account settings.

Our Xbox Live Gold subscription is linked to my dad's account. However the Xbox One console is set up as my dad's Home Console so the subscription is shared with me. I can play all the games on his account so that seems to work fine. Nevertheless my dad
purchased Xbox Live Gold subscription for my account but that also didn't solve the issue.

We've ran out of options to solve this issue but I really want to play with my friends.

Can anyone please advise me what to do?

Double check to ensure that your console is not set as his Home console. If it is then have him set his console as his Home console. That would be the only reason I can think of that his purchases would be downloading to your console.

If that is not the case you should contact phone support for more assistance.

The issue is the Home Xbox. He probably used his Gamertag once on your console, so your console is his Home.

Advise him on his Xbox One to go to Settings>My Xbox and then set that console as his own. That will stop the downloads on your console when he buys on his own.

If his Gamertag is still on your console, you can sign in as that one, go to Settings>My Xbox and select "This is not my Home" which will also prevent this behaviour, though your father will probably still want to set his own console as his Home console.

I've tried this but on the new Xbox one s the ready to install doesn't show any of my purchased downloaded games that are available on my old Xbox one s.

As SunkNath already said, your son can simply add his own account to the "Dad-Xbox-One" the same way he added your Profile. He just has to use the email you used to create the Child account.

Be Aware, that downloaded games are tied to the account that "purchases" the game ("purchasing" includes free games like Fortnite).

There is a function on the Xbox One called "Home Console", where the owner of these purchased games can allow a single console to share the "owned" games to this console, so anyone can play the games on that console.

In order for your son to be able to play Fortnite on any console he plays on, your son has to be the "owner" of the game.

This also means, that games you purchased with the original Xbox 360 account, are not available to your son on the "Dad Xbox One".
