My Xbox one has died after many years .. if I get an X how do I transfer my games and apps...

When you log in on another console, you will be able to find all your digitally downloaded games in the ready to install section of your game library. Any disc games, just insert the disc and install. Saves will be synced the moment you start a game.

Had a very similar issue day one. I decided to use the wireless transfer on mat home 802.11ac net. The problem is a few things that aren’t mentioned anywhere. During the install of the ONE and ONLY game play, of course, my old box decided to do what it’s
told to do and keep all games & app up to date, so right in the middle off 48GB Ghost Recon transfer the X install stopped. To make matters worse, the game was “auto-magically” erased on the XB 1S even though I did a copy NOT move.

ONE BIG TIP. SIGN OUT OF YOUR ONLINE XBOX ACCOUNT on YOUR OLD BOX as soon as you start the transfer on the new one.

Once I unplugged my old box after he install stopped on the new box and died. I restarted my new X and did an UN-INSTALLl of the game that died. Logged out, logged back in, did a re-downoad of the entire game and was up and running no problems since.

Snap, I just tried to do a licence transfer to preserve my digital xbox 360 games and I get the error as its no longer supported. :/ These games that are not xbox one/series x backwards compatable are going to be gone forever once my original white xbox dies. The dvd drive is dead already. No warnign was given that licence transfers were going to be removed. whats next? a silent removal of the 360 servers.

After game transfer from an Xbox one my add ons show to be installed but do not work in gameplay. Any ideas?

I recently purchased Xbox One X to upgrade/replace my old Xbox. Without first browsing for instruction, I turned on the new Xbox One and started to recreate my account using my email and password without problem but when it came to gamertag it would not
take my prior gamertag, telling me it is already taken, so I changed it a bit and added another digit to my old gamertag to allow me to continue. After that I browsed online for instructions how to transfer my apps/games. OF course I am concerned about losing
my purchased games but most of all I didnt want to lose World of Tanks (WOT). I've been playing WOT since 2004, with so many tanks already collected and purchased. I copied all apps/games to an external hard drive and uploaded them into Xbox One X. It seemed
to work since I can see all apps on screen including WOT. The problem is I cannot get WOT to play. I tried everything possible by rebooting, reinstalling, with no success. Another thing is when I sign into Microsoft using my email , It is only showing or locked
in to the new gamertag. Any advise on how I can fix this problem and plainly just transfer my games to the new Xbox One X using my original account using my email, password and retaining my original gamestag to be able to play WOT on Xbox One X.
