    My Call of Duty AW and Gta V are smeared in the disk media and are not being recognized by the console. I would like to know possible options to allow the exchange of these discs.

    Friends list empty = 360 only

    Hi,

    My friends are no longer showing on my Friends List on the 360 - but are ok on my Xbox One.

    Been this way for months and I've cleared the cache and properly rebooted the console several times to no avail.

    Can you advise?

    Hey Chrissimpson2k30,

    If none of the disks are working and no power cycling or re-setting is working, it may be time to register your Xbox One for repairs.     A lot of game retailers offer scratch protection warranties, if one was purchased I would consult with the retailer applicable for the games you received.

    HALO 4 and digital copy (marketplace download) Also any other new game...

    they should be all digital downloads or at least give us that option to either buy the game disc copy or buy it $15 cheaper digitally! and another reason they should make them digital download (ac 3,X COM, etc.) eventually your 360 will not read the game
    disk any longer no matter if you buy the cleaning kit or not! so in a way what good are those game disc if they can't no longer be read. I am one for DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. becuase my 360 can no longer read game discs. I'm on my 7th 360 console!. I can't play halo
    4! becuase my console can't read it! and I refuse to buy a new 360 console ( which would be my 8th one) becuase the same problem will show it self!. so I'M ALL FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. hopefully the 720 or what ever the new microsoft home console will be named,
    will have digital download. and hopefully it won't cost us $400 or $500

    That may sound strange, but if you "hold" the disk for 2 seconds while inserting on the console, the xbox will pull the disk with more strength, then let go of the disk and see if it will read. This happened with my old xbox one, it would only read disks
    if i did this, don't know why.

    if the disk is scratched sometimes it can stop reading the disk on other consoles and your console may be lucky enough to read it as for me I had a disk that was scratched and it didnt work on my friends console but worked on mine and I have the newer xbox
    he has the older one so maybe the old xbox's are more sensitive hope I helped
