My XBOX One died, can I resurrect

If it is an original xbox one with the power supply on the outside then you can try asking a friend to try using their power supply. This will tell you if the power supply is the problem or not.

Aside from that there is nothing else we can suggest as that would be self repair which is against the terms of service. Discussing self repair is against the rules as well so no one here will be able to help with that.

I would advise against taking it apart. If you break it even more you would have to buy a new Xbox because they wont repair one that has been opened even if you paid them. They wont touch an opened console with a ten foot pole.

No-one around admits to having xb and i don't have torxheaded screwdrivers so I couldn't even open my box. I managed to remove plastic covers with an instructions video, so if i still had a warranty, voided it.That is all i've managed to do, and i suspect
having torx-driver wouldn't actually made much difference. Now i'm waiting for new psu to arrive maybe to find out that my psu is actually fine. I've missed few live gold games and i guess that's just how it is, my box won't work anyway.I expected to get more

Read"you have to buy a new xbox" part of your reply as in i'm obligated to buy a new one, like in a future corporate cyberpunk-dystopia. Not yet. Soon though. Hoping my psu is broken.

My 120GB hard drive died couple years ago, and the first symptom hours before it died was Xbox was lagging, i was playing a Co-op with a friend and the lag got worst and worst to the point that the game jumps screens, when it died the game i was playing
froze. when i went to reset Xbox, it was stuck at the xbox logo screen, and i changed to my old 20GB and ran fine. later on i was able to confirm that my 120 was dead with a friend's Xbox.

So basically, your HDD is near death, if you can resurrect it to working condition.

I think once a Sims dies, s/he hangs round for 5 in game hours before death comes along. What is the dead sim doing? Can you resurrect her/him?

We didn't intentionally turn on the music. I think one of our guys died once and was resurrected so the music came on by itself. But that was later in the rounds. It's almost like the arm doesn't come down if everyone in my party has the cryogenic slumber
party achievement but as soon as someone comes in that doesn't have it - it will work.
