My Xbox One controller goes off by itself while i play

This morning I went to play Fortnite with my friends and unexpectedly my Xbox One controller completely shut down, the warning to reconnect your controller appeared, but as much as I tried to connect, it didn't work ...
I left it off for a while and used a keyboard and mouse that I connected right after, after the game I try to turn on the controller again, and it worked! But happiness was short-lived because after five minutes, he hung up and didn’t call anymore. I left
it for a while and turned off my console.
An hour and a half passed when I called again, and yes, the same mistake.

use a cable or check your batteries!

You could have a faulty controller, or have you made sure that they didn’t run out of battery? You could also try having it hard wired to your xbox, instead of it being wireless!

My xbox is a Xbox One X (Project Scorpio)

My problem is not the wifi because this is the first time that it happens (the last time I improved my wifi was 3 months ago).

So sorry you had this to happen. Did you try removing batteries before you reconnected? Sometimes this will fix s connection issie woth controllers.
