My Xbox one can't find my high speed usb 3.0

Also, is there a way of using a high speed USB to USB-C to connect my controller via USB 3.0?

Pretty much all wired USB keyboards and most wireless ones should work fine on an Xbox One console. You won't find keyboards rated as USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 because they don't need high speed USB connections to work.

I'm using a WD Elements 1TB USB 3.0 portable hard drive.

I believe a USB 2.0 drive is required but USB 3.0 is backwards compatibile. Also i'm assuming that you are less likely to have performance problems if the drive is USB 3.0 due to the fact that the speed will drop to maximum USB 2.0 speed when connected to
the 360.

I can't find a list anywhere yet although i'm assuming if a drive works with the xbox one it will work with the 360.

Also don't worry if a drive you buy has NTFS on it as the 360 will be able to format it to FAT32 to make it compatible

of up to 410MB/s and 380MB/s respectively. Sound Transcend 1 TB USB 3.0 External Solid State Drive read and write speed is still below of USB 3.0 max capability.

Just had this problem with my new Seagate Expansion drive, problem turned out to be the USB 3.0 cable included with the drive, it was not connecting at USB 3.0 speeds, triggering the error message you are seeing. Purchase a high quality USB 3.0 A to micro-b
cable online or from a computer store, may not solve the issue for everyone but it's not a very expensive step to try if no other suggestion is working.
