My Xbox Not Making Sound When Typing

I have recently run into an issue where I no longer hear sound when I am typing on the Xbox Series X. I hear sound for everything else but not this. I was able to fix it once by hard resetting the Xbox Series X but that is no longer working. I would REALLY appreciate some help getting this fixed. I know it may not seem like a big issue but let me explain why it is to me. I have really bad OCD, so I notice all of the little things. If anything is not how it should be it bothers me for days on end to the point where it's mentally exhausting. I think about all the possible reasons for it. I wonder if it's just a bug or if it's a problem with my console. It really destroys my sense of happiness. I have alot of issues going on right now in my life (health, finance and family wise) and after 2 years of selling all of my gaming stuff I collected over 2 decades just so I wouldn't be homeless I was able to get a console again only to have issue after issue and next to no help from customer support for any of my problems. I've even had to fight for refunds on a console that was lost in the mail. There was even one point where over half of my digital games were missing and I didn't get them back for 2 weeks. It really seems like Microsoft has gone downhill with quality control and customer service. They have not been able to offer me a fix for this or any other issue I have encountered so I am now coming humbly to you, my fellow gamers to hopefully help me fix what seems to be a minor issue that Microsoft and all their billions can't seem to find a fix for. As a customer of well over 18 years this is problematic. But anyways, thanks in advance for helping me gain peace of mind with my console (again).

Same here, But I’m pretty sure it will come back eventually, That happened after one of the updates, there was one time when you couldn’t see your Avatar on your profile after one console update and 2 updates later they fixed! So it could be a bug which I really hope it is since I really like the sound too and I don’t think they are removing it since there’s no reason for that! Let’s just wait for the next updates until it’s back

Don't worry about the situation, currently the keyboard on the Xbox doesn't have a navigation sound, the console it's fine and it's not a hardware or software issue

Hey. I’m having that issue rite now. Just one day it stopped working. I use my controller to search for games or send quick messages to my friends. And the noise from the keyboard that pops up when you use your controller doesn’t work. It’s frustrating I like the sounds. I know how your feel. Did you ever get it fixed? If so can you share what you did to fix it

welcome to xbox, but your making it sound like your joining some type of mafia haha. Just make sure to have fun when playing and don't talk trash cause thats one way not to get welcomed to xbox.

I am sorry for replying late. I have tried all the above mentioned steps except for the NAT type because I contacted the support of my internet provider and they told me that by having open NAT type I risk getting secuirity breaches. I personally dont think this is an internet problem but then again I am no expert. My Xbox makes a certain sound when I insert the disc everytime but after repeating those same sounds for 1 minute it does nothing. I am hoping that there is a possible solution to this because there is no scratch or any damage on it. My Xbox does not even display an error for not reading the disc. This type of problem does not occur when I insert any other disc except Rainbow Six Siege.
