My Xbox live subscription was created using an e-mail that I no longer have access to. How can I transfer my gamer tag that I've used for almost 10 years to a new account?

you would need to contact support, then also prove you own the account.

don't forget it is your responsibility to keep your account up to date.

I am in the same boat as many of the people here. I no longer have access to my xbox e-mail address that was used to create this all those years ago. Been a Gold Sub for 7 years, and I changed my e-mail address on the site and put a call in was directed
to visit the forums. Can anyone look into this please?

If that old e-mail no longer exists, create a new e-mail and change the WLID on the Xbox LIVE account to the new e-mail.

It sounds like you may have used the incorrect e-mail address when signing into Xbox Live, is it possible you have a different e-mail that you used when you created your Gamertag? Is that Gamertag that you're using now the Gamertag you're trying to access on
your Xbox One?

Cancel this..I logged in using my current hotmail.com e-mail address and xbox CREATED a new account without really confirming anything...I forgot i'm using an ancient e-mail for my xbox live stuff. Thanks and you can delete this!
