my Xbox Live Gold doesn't recognize im signed up

Hello, I have a xbox one slim I got 3 years ago and I have had this issue 3 times. What issue im talking about is where I log onto my account on my system and I KNOW I have Xbox Live Gold but when I invite my friends to a party im greeted
with the ad buy Xbox Live Gold $10 a month. this info might be helpful too, my dad pays for my Xbox Live and we use my home xbox since we live in the same house. he pays on his console and I am using his subscription I removed my account from my console but
still the same thing. any help here?

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to use your subscription benefits on a console that you have designated as your Home Xbox.

Considering how you have already removed and re-added your account to the console, I would have to say the next setp would be to re-set that Xbox once more as the

Home Xbox.

This does not however, consume any of your Home Xbox Switches, as long as you are not changing what console is your Home console, so that is something that you shouldn't be too conerned about.

Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

I'm having the same problem. I'm connected to Xbox Live, but it doesn't recognize my profile. Says my profile is not signed into Xbox Live.

I'm having the same issue, It's not downloading my gamer information and doesn't recognize that I have an Xbox Gold Live membership.
