My xbox live account seems to no longer be active and I can't subscribe again.

Xbox live seems to think I no longer have an active account. I've checked my account status and it seems to have been paid on 23rd February, next payment is due 23rd March. I've done a soft reset of my machine, logged back in and still having the same problem

I've tried purchasing gold again, a month at a time, 3 months and an annual subscription and every time I get a message saying "try that ageing Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help."

I've had this problem for 3 days now so I know waiting a bit won't help.

What else can I try?

login to http://commerce.microsoft.com and click on subscriptions.

See if the subscription is active there. Please report back to us.

If your account history shows the subscription, try removing your profile, power cycling your Xbox, and then re-adding your profile. You will need your account info/password to sign back into your account, so only do this if you know that information.
In order to properly power cycle the Xbox, make sure you are holding the power button on the console until it turns off and then unplugging the power cable for a couple of minutes. If that doesn't fix your issue, I recommend requesting a call back from support.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this inconvenience at the moment.

This error used to come up when a person had an account with an unpaid balance that suspended the subscription, so I would check services & subscriptions for your account at

account.microsoft.com whenever you get a chance. If it shows up all fine, then I would probably contact
customer support
directly to have an agent help you out with this problem.

When you get a chance, review that information and let us know if it helped with the problem.
