    My Xbox keeps telling me my settings don't allow me to play online. Go to settings/account/privay and online safety. Welllllll.... thanks for nothing. I go there to change WHAT exactly? I've set it ALL to the most open setting available ("everyone" or "allow". Reset my Xbox, restarted the game, and I still get the same message. XBOX SUCKS!! If ps5s were available I would never have bought this convoluted piece of .....

    This is for Conan age of sorcery.

    I can play GTA V, Modern Warfare, Red Dead R 2, ETC, all fine. There was 1 other game which gave me that error 2 weeks ago, but I decided to delete it after trying to fix the error for an hour. But I really want to play Conan online.

    Ok, I couldn't fix the issue from Xbox easily. Had to login with my laptop to my Xbox account via a browser.. . Checked settings, check ked a box which had nothing to do with playing online but was a "allow others to view your play online via livedsteam" box. This is NOT online play related in the tech world. And why wouldn't this relate to every game I'm playing online then?

    Fix your obscenely maze designed privacy settings Microsoft... good lord.

    No, that was not the case. I live alone. I did not create the account as a child account. I created it as an adult account.

    Your online security options are obtuse.

    also, Your messages should point to what option exactly is creating the problem, not the area within in lies that has multiple options.

    (No offense to you directly as sure you didn't design and program the whole thing).

    And maybe this issue lies upon the individual game//programmers/company to report what the actual problem is.... might not be a Microsoft problem.

    the problem is that if your account was originally created as a child's it does not allow you to see the options that need to be changed unless another adult account takes over your account and changes them for you.
