Xbox live is not working

Hello, i just bought an xbox live membership for three months. Yesterday, i redeemed it and my xbox said "All done, You have xbox live gold". But the problem is that when i try playing online it doesnt let me and it keep saying Buy xbox live gold to play
online. I have check my subscribtions and it says your xbox live gold will expire in three months, so i have it. I can install the three free games when you have xbox live gold but everything else related to that, it doesnt let me. pls help this is annoying,
i payed almost 30$ for that.

I didn't get my extra 3 months

there was a ad on xbox saying that if you buy three months you get three months free but i didn't get my extra three months and i do not see what happen.

PlayStation did this with their PlayStation 3. What a big mistake that was for them. Yeah, people were happy, but they lost more without the subscription there.

Its like your ISP just saying, you don't need to pay for the internet. How are they going to keep their services running.

if Xbox did this, then they would struggle to keep Xbox Live up. Besides, Gold isn't that expensive. You can choos a package that's right for you. £6 for 1 month, £15 for three months & £40 for the year.

I am beyond frustrated with this BS. Just blanket statements from Xbox and Activision saying we know there's a problem just hang in there and we will fix it. I could understand that if after a week its fixed and I'm back to enjoying the service that I pay
for but no still paying for something that is broken. I'm sure its not ok if I don't pay my next three month subscription and say that I'm experiencing technical issue and to just hang in there Xbox will shut my live account off in a heart beat. Its not like
there in a rush with a 1.7 billion dollar profit margin and there baby Xbox one to look after this has probly been pushed down to some low level interns to figure out as they go about there day as business as usual. If this keeps up for much longer PlayStation
here I come.
