My Xbox keeps freezing when I try playing downloaded games that I paid for. I've tried...

Hi Cory, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, please unplug the hard drive and then perform a power cycle before attempting to play any game again, keep the hard drive unplugged. We're doing this steps if in case the external hard drive is corrupted.

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

If you don't have an external hard drive we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

My system also has been freezing up. I have the original white system xbox 360. I use a 250gb hard drive and a smaller 60g hdd. My system freezes when using either one. If I play the arcade or indie games, they're the only ones that don't freeze up.
All the games I play are downloaded to my hdd. I've tried clearing the cache as well as re-downloading the games (which I've done about 5 times). This does not seem to fix the issue. I bought it as a refurbished console, and it's been freezing since i
purchased it.

That's ok. I've tried playing ZoE HD and when I try to play either game they freeze on the loading screens or they just continuously load. I've also tried downloading other things on the marketplace but come to the same result. Finishing at 80% and getting
stuck at loading screens.

Yes i've tried, i've deleted the file in the HDD, and deleted it from the downloading list and then my xbox works fine.

(seems to be an issue when the xbox downloads this file it makes it freeze (any other game/file works by the way) that's why when it connects to the xbox live it freezes constantly)

As I said, thing is i've bought the game, i'd like to find a way to make it work...

I've tried this multiply times but my xbox will just freeze up when i try to do this and I've already tried to move my xbox, anyone anything
