    Hi there,

    it will be hard to tell what circuit can be burned, there is quite a lot in there that can be damaged.

    When it is damaged it's best to either have it repaired via the Xbox Service center (be sure to contact Xbox Support first so they can determine if it can be repaired or not) or purchase a new console.

    It's not advised or supported to try and fix it yourself.

    Honestly I don't know, but the best you can do is get it serviced to fix it.

    yeah have that thing serviced ASAP. I don’t know why that could have happened as I have never even heard of that happening. I will note that the consoles hardware should not be tampered with by anyone except professionals. Sorry that your console met it’s

    The console has provisions to protect against a power surge, but if you have it plugged into a power strip that also has a surge protector, then it can get fried as they sort of negate each other. That's what I've read or something along those lines.
