    So my Xbox was dying one night fans going crazy and I was super tired so like an idiot I shut it off. Then it hasn’t turned on for the past 2 days but this morning it did so checked it twice in a row to make sure it was fine and it was. Then for the third time to get on it didn’t turn on and won’t turn back on. How can I fix this

    Thanks for your help and I tried feeling around there but it still doesn't feel that hot, like it is a little bit warm but not really anything that noticible. Im just worried coz my hands are quite cold that, that might be why I cant feel the warmth, but
    it should be the opposite, as I should be able to feel the heat even easier. I would say my xbox is out of warranty unfortuanately.

    Hi there,

    While I use the series X, I haven’t yet experienced any issues with leaving my xbox on extended times to see if it would shut down due to over heating. Think of it as a PC, as long as it gets air to keep it cool, leaving it on for extended time periods I don’t see why it would over heat. However I wouldn’t recommend it, as it could shut down, never tried. Not saying it will shut down due to over heating, but there’s a chance it could.

    I've noticed my Xbox One could be over heating because when I turn my Xbox One off the power light flashes couple of times and it takes around 5-10 seconds for the Xbox One console to turn off, could this be over heating?

    I think it also could be the power pack over heating too check it for dust buildup and that thei is no visible heat marks on it.
