My Xbox is stuck updating call of duty

Please try the following steps:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Remove your account from the console (You need to have your email address handy so that you can log in later).

2. Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

3. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Xbox.

4. Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.

5. Press the Power button on your Xbox to turn it back on.

6. Log in to your account again.

Please stop replying with this. This does nothing.

This issue that KEEPS reappearing regarding call of duty is CLEARLY a bug that microsoft refuses to address. I'm sitting here dealing with this issue again myself as this has been ongoing for almost 4 years.

World At War was my favorite Call of Duty they ever made.

I'd probably get it if they stuck with the WW2 era again.

I’m currently having the same problem. I tried to update call of duty modern warfare, but it refuses to update. I canceled the update and uninstall the entire game, I am even went as far as to factory reset my Xbox. But to no prevail I am unable to install
call of duty modern warfare.

In terms of competition for the cash cow that is Call of Duty, this is a very welcome release. If there was nobody to show Call of Duty how shooting games should be developed, console FPS fans would be stuck with reskins for the next decade!
