My xbox is shutting off mid game, how can i fix this?

So what I’m seeing is that no one **** else has had a problem with there Xbox shutting off mid game to the point where the people at Microsoft knows how to fix it?? I spent $500 on this pile and it can’t even work right or be told how to make it work right.

Your xbox itself shuts off mid game or you just lose picture and sound?

I've experienced this before. It maybe that your console failed to update while it was not in use and forced it through mid game as a last resort. I 'overused' my xbox (didnt shut it off for a few days) when it happened to me. It can happen but it actively
tries to aviod doing so

I have an Xbox One, every time I try to stream on Mixer with a cam and not with a cam the Xbox One spontaneously shuts down. When I do not use a cam it take longer for the shut down to happen. If I turn it back on immediately and try again it takes less
and less time til unwanted shutdown.



I have tried every fix from Power Cycles, to dusting and increased ventilation , to clearing all caches and persistent storage. I even tried it on a Different Xbox One with the same outcome.

If I had to guess, the Broadcast dashboard and mixer is causing a critical power/temp fault by overtaxing the system. I have stream evidence of spontaneous shutdown on Mixer Almighty_Dire

Just a thought but if you can, plug the console to one wall socket without the surge protector and everything else on a different wall socket.

Don't overload your wall outlet, extension cord, power strip, or other electrical receptacle. Confirm that these are rated to handle the total current drawn by your Xbox (as shown on the power supply), and by any other devices on the same AC circuit.
