    My Xbox is not working properly after unenrolling in the console update preview


    Hi, I unenrolled in this preview because of a forced update being about once a week was turning out to be a bit annoying, especially when I usually was on when the update happened… but after unenrolling none of my games or apps seem to work, any help?

    Hey there.

    Your console is likely still in the preview program, so you're now receiving the preview updates for the next system update that will be released to the public soon. If you'd like to stop getting the preview updates, you'll need to unenroll your console
    through the Preview Dashboard app - the unenrollment will take effect once this update being tested is released to the public... you'll only receive the monthly public updates after that.

    We've queued your console for unenrollment. After the next update is released to the public that console will stop receiving Preview updates.

    I had this the other day after an update. When I checked, I had been in the preview program. Unenrolling fixed it. Best thing to do would be to unenrol from the program and see if the problem persists. Bare in mind that after you unenrol, you will have to
    run through the initial setup of your xbox again.

    I would suggest that you keep trying to
    unenroll    . Ensure you have a stable connection to the internet, and give the console a simple
    power cycle and attempt to unenroll again.

    After successfully unenrolling, you should be prompted to perform a system update your console (reverts to the current public release).
