My Xbox is automatically making inputs and I can’t get it to work.

Hello Smokwyy, in your description you say that you tried a hard reset, and a normal reset, you already tried to reset your console keeping games and apps, if you haven't tried it follow the procedures below.

Another thing that can help, if you are playing in a new generation console, like Series S/X is try to remove games from quick resume, because when you will start some game that is very heavy in matter of memory for the console.

And finally try to do a reset on the console while keeping games and Apps.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Make sure you use the automatic settings . I inputed all the makes and models for tv and directv and it did weird things. After talking to support they told me the xbox 1 gets a signal from the reciever and tv through the hdmi and automatically sets it upI

I finally got mind to work. Instead having automatic discovery of dns I chose manual and input the addresses into the xbox and it logged me on straight away

Apologies for the delayed response when I tried the steps you posted earlier, it worked.

As per the comment above my settings for 2 of Xbox settings were also set to manual so changed those to automatic. I also had the IP service settings to automatic I selected a different option then changed it to automatic and then selected apply just incase.

My next issue however is that I can’t seem to use the PS5 controller with the surface pro X it says that it’s connected but I get no response, using the touch controls on the surface pro X seem to work.
