    cant connect my xbox to my computer

    i keep trying to add a new device to my computer (my xbox obviously) and it wont detect my xbox for some reason... solutions???

    Using windows 8 on xbox live

    With my last computer, I could connect my computer to my xbox with ease and watch my videos from my computer on my xbox. With my windows 8 computer, it seems as if I won't be able to do that being that this computer doesn't have windows media center. So
    how do I connect my computer to my xbox? (If I can at all)

    What kind of computer setup are you running? If its not got the graphics capability it will surely not allow streaming even though its not processing the game directly itself. Im not sure of the base requirements for stable streaming from xbox one to pc
    so ill look that up and see about getting back on that. May also want to see how strong the connection is between the pc and xbox. Might be that you need a stronger wifi signal for it to work properly. Low bandwidth will interrupt it. If none of that helps
    i would try xbox support.

    I've just searched for the minimal setup I need to stream and I have better than that and I have a really good connection so i dont know what is the problem but thank you for the answer i will go to xbox support to see if they can do something about it.
