verify if your account is as your home xbox:

Just go to settings, then personalization, then my home xbox.

See if says add as my home xbox or remove as my home xbox.

Yea you should be able to play your digital games as long as your signed into the account that bought them. You can only have 1 account set as "my home xbox". Which means that if you set your account as "my home xbox" on your sons xbox, he will be able to
play your games you bought but can not set your account on your xbox as "my home xbox".

Yeah so why cant he use it after ive made his xbox my accounts home xbox, and his account my home xbox ?

I have 4 Xbox One systems in my household and utilizing only 2 Gold accounts. My home Xbox is set to my daughter's system and I log onto my system with my account. My daughter gets Gold access on my account because hers is the home system and I get full
access due to logging into my account. The same is true with my Wife's account and my son's Xbox. The home setting does work but you would still need to log into the Gold status account on the second (non-home) Xbox.
