    My Xbox Hasn't Booted Properly Since the Last Update!!


    My xbox has been unable to startup properly since the most recent update (2ish weeks ago) - which was a 3 step update - Download, Verify, then Install. At first, it was allowing me to download the update fully, followed by the initiation of the verification step which would almost instantly fail each time (about 3 times). After restarting my console after the 3rd attempt, each time (i've booted it probably 30 times now) I booted the console it would just stay on the green "Xbox" boot screen (I've had it sit on that screen for up to 2 hours).

    Now, with the insiders program, I understand that the updates I receive will differ from the general public, nevertheless, I tried going through every step of the offline update solution guide multiple times now and have yet to have any success - even with formatting a flash drive to NTFS and putting the offline update on there - when I try and do that it just says "system error". I have been trying different things for almost 2 weeks now.

    What do I need to do to get up and running again?

    No longer getting Surround sound when watching TV through XBO

    I have the same problem since the last update. It seems to be OK when I boot my xbox, but once I change the input on my receiver and switch it back it's stuck in stereo until I reboot the xbox. Something in the last update definitely broke surround sound
    for TV watching.
