My Xbox has been turning off within five minutes of playing Cold War since it’s release.

Thats whats happening to me ive been playing xbox literally the past two days and its been in the same spot, and i start playing cold war and it keeps freezing and turning off

I'm wired in to my modem but my Xbox kicks me off Xbox Live after 5 minutes unless I'm playing an online game and actively using the controller in a live game. If I'm in a lobby for five minutes looking through stats or achievements, I get disconnected within
five minutes. Anyone know what might be the issue?

Yeah, I think I'm going to hold off on playing COD cold war until they release a mega patch. I'm happy that I am not the only one dealing with this issue. I'll turn off Ray Tracing and see what happens after.

I’m having the same problem man, although I don’t believe it’s an Xbox Series X issue. I haven’t bought next gen and am still only on the Xbox One X and my game constantly crashes ONLY while playing Cold War. I have no clue how to fix my own issue but
for Series X users I hear that turning off Ray Tracing is an easy temporary fix. I’ve also heard that this issue has been breaking peoples Series X so you might just want to hold off on playing until they release a patch.

I just reset my xbox and reinstalled CoD Cold War and it’s still asking me to buy the game i had preorderd the ultimate edition when the game was on preorder and have played since day 1 of Cold War and this has never happend till yesterday
