    Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer. Essentially my challenge is there are 2 gamer tags related to my email. The one is autoselected and that is the one that doesn't have any of my transactions/friends list/profile.

    The weird thing is on my XB1 when I go to Microsoft or Xbox.com. It will pull up the correct gamertag. But when I sign on any other device (xbox series X/companion app/ desktop computer) it selects the gamer tag with nothing on it.

    I have been trying to get ahold of Microsoft but have not gotten a response and unable to get anyone on the phone.

    Special note:I can access the settings through both xboxes simultaneously. And can also access online settings on my original account. Just can't bring up the correct gamer tag on my series X.

    Please help! This is very disappointing not being able to access my content.

    Make sure you purchased the correct version for your console. The game has 2 different versions. One for the Series X and one for the Xbox One. You might have the Series X version, hence why it won't work.

    If you don't trust the retailers, you'll never get an Xbox series x anytime soon.

    I stay in the UK and one of those retailers has the Xbox series s and x available but you have to take it with Xbox all access to pay the console off over 2 years.

    This retailer is the probably the only one autherised by Microsoft to sell the Xbox series s/x via Xbox all access in the UK.

    If you're having trouble logging in to the correct gamertag on your new Xbox Series X, kindly try the following and see if it helps.

    1. Check your Xbox profile on another device: If you have an Xbox app or Xbox Game Pass app on a mobile device or PC, check if your correct gamertag is showing there.

    2. Try signing in on a different Xbox console: If possible, try signing in on another Xbox console to see if the issue is isolated to your Series X.

    3. Check the Xbox account settings online: Log into your Xbox account on a web browser and go to the "Profile" section to see if your correct gamertag is listed there.

    What is the game in question?

    Are you sure you purchased it via the account your signed in with ?

    Have you downloaded the correct version for the game you bought?

    For eg CoD BO : cold war has 2 versions: an xbox one and a xbox series x version.

    But it is possible to play the xbox one version on the series x via backward compatibility.

    My Series X has MY adult account on with my gamertag, purchased Gamepass and downloaded and paid for all the games on it.

    The home console should be my little lads, the old Xbox One, which will allow him to have full online access?
