    My Xbox goes on but there's picture and there's a funny noise coming from the power input port


    Iv had my Xbox one original since lunch and today I had a power cut I unplugged my xbox the power came back on i wait 15 minutes for the surge to pass and when I plugged it in and waited for the power supply to turn oringe I turned it on it went on but there was no picture and after a few minutes it turns off what should I do

    Sorry scratch that, the buzzing noise is coming from the insert in which the power block goes into.

    Okay so as of now my tv settings are

    Brightness: 42

    Contrast: 50

    Color: 50

    Tint: 0

    Sharpness: 45

    Backlight: high

    Advanced picture settings are:

    Dynamic contrast: off

    Film mode: off

    Noise reduction: off

    MPEG noise reduction: off

    120 hz level: off

    My Xbox is currently running 1080i but the tv is native 1080p. I don't think I will be able to rename the input but it does have a pc input. The funny thing is that this model listed on other websites has 4 ms of response time under the specs, so I'm not
    sure if that is a new updated version of the model or that is incorrect specs.

    Thank you for coming to the forums today, I'd be happy to help.

    That TV is capable of displaying a picture with the Xbox One. Have you tried all of the HDMI ports and confirmed the TV is on the same input?

    If you haven't done so, go ahead and do a
    hard reset and power cycle    . Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
    turn on the Xbox.

    Try this:

    Room with cable modem

    coax cable from wall to coax input on moca

    coax cable from coax output of moca to coax input of Arris

    ethernet cable from LAN port of Arris to ethernet port of moca

    Room with Xbox

    coax cable from wall to coax input on moca

    cap and do not use coax output of moca

    ethernet cable from port on Xbox to port on moca

    Power cycle your Arris.
