My Xbox games keep crashing and my menu freezes all the time how can I fix it?

Kindly try the following troubleshooting steps:

1.) Power Cycle

Try power cycling your Xbox. A full power cycle completely reboots your console. Doing this does not erase any of your games or data.

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for at least 10 seconds.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

Note If you don’t see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure you hold the power button for at least 10 seconds until the console completely shuts down.

After you have completed the previous steps to power cycle your console, try to restart your game.

2.) Try using a different profile.

Sometimes gameplay can be affected by corrupted profile data on your Xbox console. To see if this is the case, try playing the same game using a different profile on your console.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, and then select Add or switch.

Select a profile other than the one you were previously using.

If you don’t have a different profile set up on your Xbox, you can create a new profile just for testing purposes, or have a friend load their profile onto your console to test the game for you. For help adding another profile to your Xbox console, see:

Now restart the game to see if it works correctly under a different profile.

3.) Clear the local save and resync with the cloud.

It’s possible that the local save for your game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.

First, delete the local save:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.

Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button  on your controller.

Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.

Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.

After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:

Press and hold the Xbox button  in the center of your controller.

Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.

After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to the Xbox service.

Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

I know that, but it doesn't fixed my game.

The update was just for the game crashes which occured ingame while playing. My game starts freezing in the main menu after the Intro when it says "Finding crew ledger"

i’m having this exact same issue and i don’t have an external hard drive all my games are crashing and my xbox freezes on the menus and it’s the same xbox one s

i’m not sure what to do i’ve tried everything

Minecraft keeps crashing my Xbox

I'll just be playing on my Minecraft world and it will randomly crash the entire Xbox. Then I will have to start it up again and go through the whole start up screens as if I restarted it. I have found no pattern to these crashes, they happen on all my worlds,
friends worlds, and at random times. It crashes whether I have friends in the game or I'm by myself. It only happens with Minecraft. I've uninstalled the game several times, cleared my cache, download my data on a hardrive and reinstalled from the cloud, but
the problem stilk persists. Please help, Thank you!

What version of xbox one are you using the last minecraft update fixed some crashes but i freeze randomly on realm and local worlds as well. Im useing a "s"

No errors were found when troubleshooting and the error message is gone but upon launching it will start the game but freeze as soon as the menus loads, and other times upon launch it will show as a black screen with my cursor showing as the blue loading circle then the crash menu pops up saying the basic "Close app" and "Wait for response". I will try uninstalling and reinstalling the game and possibly that will fix it.
