You won't be able to change it back without paying for it, but if someone else has access to your account to change your GT, you should consider stepping up your account security with 2 step verification on your mail and account too.

No....this app has not let you put a custom gamer picture for over a month now. Im dissaponted in microsoft taking sooooooo long to fix this issue. 🙁

Thats because there is nothing to fix. Its not broken. Its intentionally being made that way right now

if it was a forced change the you will get one free change to make it something you want as long its not against xbox TOS, if it has been changed by someone else logging into your account then you can try xbox support but i dont think you will be successful.

First thing i would do is change your password for your xbox live account in case it has been hacked.
