my xbox freezing and stuff

Are you able to include a picture of where your XBOX is set up so we can see? There are many things that may cause it to overheat. Is it perhaps in a very dusty or hot environment? Could it be full of animal hairs? You would be surprised how magnetic cats are to games consoles

Is it on top of something else that gets hot? Is it on the carpet?

One other thing to consider is if you are playing the game from external storage. If you are using a USB SSD or HDD, that could be at fault. Try installing it on the internal drive. Or, alternatively, if the game is on the internal drive and you have an external SSD or HDD that is fast enough, try installing it on there to eliminate your internal HDD as the problem.

If everything else checks out and you are sure that it is well ventilated and is not clogged with dust/hair etc then you might want to consider repair, as Vanessa suggested. If so:

Make sure your console is registered, sign intro your Microsoft account and check the following link. Click REGISTER A DEVICE if it does not appear: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/

Once you have registered the console, go to the following link and if it states that the console is within warranty, you can request a repair for it: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/select-device-for-repair

I've tried that stuff and now I think my Xbox might just be broken I don't know what to do

I hope I can decorate my house with so much stuff that when you approach it, the Xbox freezes like in Morrowind.

I agree with weirdest mercury, because on my xbox If I unplug my wireless internet adapter I can get to the dashboard and at least pick stuff, but it did freeze on me during my game, but that may be unrelated.
